The exhibition is dedicated to the visionaries, producers and retailers in art between 1880 and 1930, of which Henry van de Velde was one of
the group’s major representatives. In his role as artist, teacher, author and consultant, he served as a link between the Arts and Crafts movement, Art Nouveau, Deutscher Werkbund and Bauhaus. Some pieces of furniture designed for the Boekentoren are on display.

The exhibition runs from 24 November 2024 til the 2nd of March 2025 in Germany, at the Kunstsammlungen am Theaterplatz in Chemnitz.
