For centuries, you entered the city through giant gates. Today, you will find dynamic and colourful city districts in exactly those places. What happened here over the past two centuries? How was the city shaped and redrawn here? On the edge of the city, but central to this expo.
For this exhibition, the Boekentoren lend some "Vliegende bladen" as well as a series of 18th-century almanacs that show you around Ghent at the time. Feel free to check out the selection during the exhibition at STAM.
