The “Foorwonder” exhibition at the House of Alijn immerses visitors in the fairs of the late 19th century. On display: one of the first X-ray machines and a box in which objects disappear. Travel back in time to the foor with anatomy museums and mechanical theatres. Of course, the many posters and miscellaneous adverts from the Boekentoren about the fairs in Ghent could not be missing from this exhibition.
